πŸ”₯ Week 4 Updates πŸ”₯

NEW Should This Roster Deduct Class Credits Roster Setting

With this new setting you will be able to control which roster(s) you want to deduct class credits from your contact's memberships and which ones you don't. By enabling the setting the system will continue attempting to deduct class credits from your contact's memberships when they're checked in for class. As long as the contact's membership is either associated to the roster or the rank system associated to the membership matches the one associated to the roster, the system will attempt to deduct a class credit just like it has in the past. By disabling that setting however, the system will not make any attempt to deduct class credits from a contact's membership even if it is associated to the roster, nor will it display the membership selector pop up on the Add by Roster page when a contact on multiple class credit memberships is checked in for class. You will be able to find this new setting by navigating to your left side menu, Attendance>Roster Setup and editing your roster(s).

Bug Fixes/Adjustments:

  • Fixed an issue with adding special characters on the invoice line item notes causing issues with the text not being saved.

  • Fixed an issue with exporting the contacts on the All Contacts report onto an Excel spreadsheet not including all of the contacts on the list.

  • Optimized the Forms/Surveys page for better loading times.

New CC Surcharge Setting for Checkout Pages

With this new addition you will be able to add surcharge fees onto your checkout page purchases. In addition to the surcharge, you can also use the existing admin fee field to apply an additional fixed fee amount to specific items. Before enabling this feature you will first need to set up your CC Surcharge percentage on the POS Settings page which you will be able to find by navigating to your left side menu, Point of Sale Settings>Settings.

Bug Fixes/Adjustments:

  • Fixed an issue with placing a contact on vacation and checking the 'move expiration date forward' toggle and unchecking it causing the expiration date to still be moved forward.

  • Fixed an issue with the image preview not working when attaching an image to an outbound message.

  • Fixed an issue with attempting to book a paid appointment through the online scheduler causing the page to freeze after clicking on the 'book' button.

  • Fixed an issue with the Total Purchased amount not updating when altering/removing line items from invoices.

  • Fixed an issue with using the manual add option on checkout pages causing the down payment being charged on the invoice to be counted as a regular installment payment.

  • Fixed an issue with not being able to create a tag from the checkout page settings page.

  • Fixed an issue with not being able to remove the CC Surcharge line item from invoices.

  • Fixed an issue with the 'Cancel' button not working as intended for Member App announcements.

  • Fixed an issue with On a Trial contacts being changed to Former Member after their trial membership is cancelled.

  • Fixed an issue with sms messages being in random order on the SMS Logs page instead of being ordered by newest - oldest.

  • Added logs for when a contact's rank size is changed on the contact's timeline tab.

  • Added logs on the 'To Whom' column for when the 'Eliminate Duplicates' checkbox is enabled/disabled for an email campaign.

  • Added a checkbox for the new After School Pickup code on the Member App Attendance tab settings.

  • Added the ability to attach images to member app messages.

New Mark Absent Toggle for the Member App

With this new setting you will be able to choose if you want to provide your contacts with the ability to mark themselves as absent for the day using the Member App. You will be able to find this new toggle by navigating to your left side menu, Settings>Attendance.

Contact Search Tool on the Franchise Dashboard

You will now be able to quickly and easily find a contact(s) profile between several franchise locations by utilizing the search contact feature within the Franchise Dashboard page. This can be helpful if a contact's profile is moved from one location to another or if you wanted to find which locations a contact has a profile in. By selecting a result from the dropdown, you will be logged into the location that the profile is in and will be automatically redirected to their profile all at once. Each result will include the ID of the location that profile is in.

Name Display Settings on the Add by Roster Page

We have added a new option on the Add by Roster page which will allow you to order the contact names on the list by First Name, Last Name OR Last Name, First Name. You will be able to find this new setting at the top of your Add by Roster page being the bottom right setting.

New All Tags Filter on the Current Ranks Report

With this new addition you will be able to choose if you want to filter your current ranks list by contacts that have any of the selected tags or only those that have all of the selected tags on their profile. You will be able to find this new setting by navigating to your left side menu, Ranks>Report: Current Ranks.

Check In Time Settings for the Self Checkin/Roster Page

These new drop downs will allow you to control how many minutes before class has started and how many minutes after class has ended a contact will still be allowed to log their attendance. You will be able to find these drop downs by opening open the Self Checkin/Roster page and clicking on the small cogwheel icon at the bottom right of the page.

Bug Fixes/Adjustments:

  • Fixed an issue with placing a contact on vacation, selecting to move the membership dat forward and then unselecting that box still moving the expiration date forward.

  • Fixed an issue with duplicate columns on the Current Ranks export file.

  • Fixed an issue with the eligibility column on the Current Ranks report export file not showing correctly for certain contacts.

  • Fixed an issue with the Last Name placeholder text on forms/surveys not being displayed correctly.

  • Fixed an issue with the system allowing additional payments to be added to invoices with scheduled payments which could lead to overcharging.

  • Fixed an issue with swapping the contact on an invoice via the POS not updating the payment methods listed in the dropdown to show the ones only for the updated contact.

  • Optimized the SMS Logs page for faster loading times.

  • Optimized the Dashboard page for faster loading times.

  • Adjusted all of the dropdown fields to have the same style between Chrome and Safari.

  • Included the name of the contact the member payment was for on autoCharge receipt emails for better clarity.

  • Added columns for ATA Number, Last Rank, Next Rank on the Current Ranks report export file.

  • Adjusted the self check in pages to allow for more results to be included on the contact dropdown.

  • Added additional logs for when a contact is removed from a roster(s) on the contact timeline and staff activity logs.

Custom Tag Selector for Refer-A-Friend

You will now be able to choose which tag(s) you want applied to your new referred contacts which you could use for several purposes such as starting automations, basic reporting/filtering reasons, etc. By leaving the tag field next to a button option blank, the system will not add any tags to any referrals that select that button after they enter in their information. You will also be able to assign multiple tags to a button.

New Terms & Conditions for Paid Appointments

We have added the option to add custom terms & conditions to the online scheduler page for Paid Appointments. Each appointment type can have it's own custom terms text and will also have the option to include the terms & conditions text on the receipt. This is a VIP+ Spark membership exclusive feature.

New Option to Charge for Rescheduling a Paid Appointment

This new setting will provide you with the ability to charge contacts for rescheduling their paid appointment. Regardless of where the appointment is being rescheduled from whether it be via the Spark calendar or the online scheduler page, you will be prompted to charge for the appointment if the setting is enabled. If you do not intend to charge for rescheduling an appointment, you will want to leave that box unchecked. This is a VIP+ Spark membership exclusive feature.

Optional Placeholder Text Setting for Forms/Surveys

With this new checkbox you will be able to choose if you want the placeholder text to appear on the form blocks on your Spark forms/surveys. By unchecking the box, it will leave all of the text boxes blank. You will be able to find this new setting by navigating to your left side menu>Forms/Surveys, editing a form, and scrolling down to the Settings tab.

Bug Fixes/Adjustments:

  • Fixed an issue on the New Member Maximizer marking students as past due before they are actually past due on their membership payments.

  • Fixed an issue with the Write a Note option not appearing when using Spark through an iPad & Safari.

  • Adjusted the Contact Phases tab on the New Member Maximizer to only show contacts on phases after clicking on the 'View Contacts' button
