New features and updates for July are here! Check out these amazing new features that we have added from the awesome suggestions you have been making to help improve Spark!

πŸ”₯ Week 4 Updates πŸ”₯

New Former Contact Appointments Filter on the Calendar

This new checkbox will allow you to choose if you want your appointments assigned to Former contacts to appear on your calendar or if you want them filtered out. You will be able to find this new checkbox above the calendars field on the left side column of the Spark calendar

New Payment Options Field on Checkout Page Purchase Item Setup

You will now be able to associate your membership checkout page purchase items to a specific Payment Options which will make it easy to preload the financial data you have already set up in your membership templates. It will also make it great for tracking how many contacts have signed up for memberships under specific payment options. You will be able to find this new dropdown by creating/editing your membership type purchase items and looking below the membership type dropdown.

Bug Fixes/Adjustments:

  • Fixed an issue with checkout pages missing from the Member App settings page.

  • Fixed an issue with the Financial Forecast report not consistently displaying the following day's forecasted payments.

  • Fixed an issue with emails not being formatted correctly when the email body is copied over from MS Word.

  • Fixed an issue with contact's rank not being automatically updated on rank promotion rosters if a contact is promoted from a different promotion roster or promoted manually from any other page.

  • Fixed an issue with account credits that contained punctuation in the description not appearing on the POS.

  • Fixed an issue with membership payment reminders being sent prior to the membership starting.

  • Fixed an issue with apostrophes on the invoice receipt emails being replaced by special characters.

  • Fixed an issue with updating the email address in the Ignite General Settings updating the email address on action steps that did not match the address being used prior.

  • Fixed an issue with the contact counts being off on the Lead & Trial Maximizer.

  • Fixed an issue with the Google sync/2 way sync to working as intended.

  • Enhanced the search parameters for both the connected contacts and merge contacts search bar to allow to search contacts by phone numbers.

  • Added logs on email campaigns to show if the option to send the email to staff members was selected.

  • Added both the CC Surcharge and Membership Service Fee income category options on the Transactions by Category report.

  • Cleaned up the All Contacts report for better loading speed.

Tag Added Date Column on the Tagged Contacts Report

With this new update on the Tagged Contacts report, you will be able to view when a specific tag was assigned to your contacts. You will be able to find this new column by navigating to your left side menu, Reports>Tagged Contacts and filtering by tag.

Bug Fixes/Adjustments:

  • Fixed an issue with the 'Convert to Trial' option on prospect profiles causing the page to freeze when attempting to add a trial membership.

  • Fixed an issue with the Lead & Trial Maximizer not including contacts whose membership has expired on the day of on the report.

  • Fixed an issue with the verification process for the Shopping Cart not autofilling the mobile phone number field as intended.

  • Fixed an issue with the mass action dropdown on checkout page purchaser's list including more contacts in the action than what there are on the list.

  • Fixed an issue with the appointment email/sms messages not being sent to contacts who book an appointment.

  • Fixed an issue with Google sync not working for booked and available slots.

  • Added text on the Ultimate Stats Appointment Funnel to clarify that the funnel will not include appointments that are not being tracked.

  • Added logs for changes made to attendance logs.

  • Added text at the top of the automations page to clarify that automations are processed early every morning.

  • Changed the 'Share with a Friend' link at the bottom of checkout page thank you screens to be based off of the Refer-a-Friend toggle.

πŸ”₯ Week 1 & 2 Updates πŸ”₯

NEW Picture/Video Consent Feature on Digital agreements

Due to the new UK laws being imposed which require businesses to gain consent from their clients/students prior to taking their photograph or video, we have added a way for you to incorporate consent options into your membership digital agreements. The video below will walk you through how to enable to this feature, how to set it up, as well as how it will work in relation to your contact's profiles and add by roster page.

Option to Mass Add Rank Style from All Contacts Report

You will now have the ability to place multiple contacts on a rank style in mass through the All Contacts report. Once you select the contacts you want to be placed in a rank system, you will need to navigate to the bottom of the page where you will be able to find a mass action titled: 'Add Rank Style'. Once that action is executed, everyone will be placed on the first rank in the system

NEW Option to Remove Fields from The Full Address Block on Forms/Surveys

With this new function you will be able to decide what kind of address information you want to gather from the contacts that complete your form/survey. This can be useful in cases where you do not use certain fields in your country and don't want it to be shown or even made required for your contacts to fill in while completing a form.

Additional Cancel If Action for Automations Added

We have added a new cancel if action titled: 'They Showed for an Appointment in Last 30 Days' which will allow you to have further control as to when an action step should fire off. Alternatively, we also have a separate action step for when a contact has an marked that was marked as shown at any point in the past as well.

Bug Fixes/Adjustments:

  • Fixed an issue with fully refunded Shopping Cart purchases not being removed from the orders list.

  • Fixed an issue with automations firing off for memberships that have not started yet.

  • Fixed an issue with manually rescheduled appointments not re-adding the booked appointment tag.

  • Fixed an issue with the rank dropdown not appearing when attempting to manually add a rank to a contact's profile from the profile page or add by roster.

  • Fixed an issue with cancelled appointments still appearing on the Today's Appointments section on the Spark Enrollment Kiosk.

  • Fixed an issue with the 'Paid' image not appearing properly on the bottom of paid invoices.

  • Fixed an issue with rank advancement stripes not appearing on contact's belts while on the Current Stripes report.

  • Fixed an issue with the rank system dropdown on the Attendance tab on contact profiles going blank when clicking on the 'Since Last Exam' toggle.

  • Fixed an issue with not being able to customize the state/province field label on forms/surveys.

  • Fixed an issue with the birthday validation not working as intended on checkout pages for accounts using the DMY date format.

  • Fixed an issue with the Marketing Sources drop down defaulting to the first option on the list instead of being blank by default.

  • Adjusted the Follow-Up Tasks page to only remove tasks from the list if the blue 'Mark Selected Tasks as Completed' button has been clicked.

  • Adjusted the Mass Rank Promotion rosters to only include former contacts that were made former after the rank promotion date.

  • Adjusted the POS invoice sending function to allow multiple invoices to be emailed out to the same contact, even if the subject line is the same.

  • Added the verification code process for the Shopping Cart (optional).

  • Made improvements on the 'Convert to Trial' function for prospect profiles.
