Understanding Class Schedules and Settings in the SPARK MINDS App

The SPARK MINDS app offers various scheduling options and settings, enabling users to manage their class bookings effectively. This article explains the functionalities of different class schedules, the role of visibility settings, and how to use these features for optimal results.

Overview of Class Schedules in the App

The app provides three primary ways to view and interact with class information:

1. Class Schedule

This option is visible on the home screen if the setting “Show class schedule from class rosters” is enabled. It allows users to:

  • Browse through available classes.

  • Book classes directly from this interface. Source: ,

2. My Class Schedule

This is accessible via the left-side menu of the app. Unlike the Class Schedule, it serves a different purpose:

  • Provides a list of already booked or assigned classes.

  • Used primarily for checking in to reserved classes.

  • Does not allow users to book new classes. Source:

3. Today’s Schedule

Displayed as a widget on the home screen, it focuses exclusively on the user’s classes for the current day. Similar to My Class Schedule, this widget:

  • Shows booked classes for today.

  • Does not support booking new classes. Source:

Customizing Schedule Visibility

The app provides options to adjust schedule visibility, ensuring flexibility for users:

  • Show Class Schedule from Class Rosters: When enabled, this adds a Class Schedule section at the top of the home screen. Disabling this setting removes the functionality to book classes through this interface. Source: ,

  • Hide My Class Schedule: This setting impacts a secondary Class Schedule block located beneath the primary one. Adjusting this checkbox hides or displays this section for users. Source:

  • Hide Today’s Schedule Widget: When this setting is turned on, the Today’s Schedule block will no longer appear on the home screen. Note: Any changes to this setting might take some time to reflect in the app. Source:

Booking Requirements in SPARK MINDS

To book classes via the app, the “Show class schedule from class rosters” setting must be enabled. Without this setting, users will not have access to the Class Schedule interface, which is necessary for making reservations. Source:

By understanding these options, users can customize their SPARK MINDS app experience to suit their preferences and improve their scheduling workflow.
