Need to grant access to your staff members?

It is easy to add as many staff or team members as you need to give access to Spark.

You can even limit access to specific features such as settings, and the ability to view financial information.

What Permissions Are Required to Access the Settings and Staff Logins Areas?

Access to the Settings and Staff Logins areas in SPARK MINDS depends on the permissions granted to your account. Understanding and managing these permissions allows you to perform critical tasks such as updating staff logins and adjusting system settings.

Required Permissions

To access these areas, you need the following permissions assigned to your account:

  • Can Edit Settings: Grants access to modify app settings.

  • Can Edit Staff Logins: Enables you to manage staff account logins and credentials.

Note: If either of these permissions is not enabled for your account, you will not be able to access these areas.

  • Left Side Menu Bar > Settings > under General section > Staff Logins

From there you'll be brought to this screen where you can edit current staff logins or add new ones.

What to Do if You Lack Permissions

If you find that you cannot access the Settings or Staff Logins areas, follow these steps to resolve the issue:

  1. Contact an Owner or Admin: Reach out to the owner of the account or staff member who holds the required permissions. They can assist by either granting you the necessary permissions or completing the task on your behalf.

  2. Request a Password Update Link: If your task involves resetting a password, ask the authorized staff member to send you the password update link to proceed.

By ensuring the right permissions, you can efficiently manage important account settings and maintain smooth operations within SPARK MINDS.

When adding Staff Member, you'll be given the option to adjust which Permissions they are permissible to. Here are the list of each permissions and their explanations:

  • Can Add/Edit/Delete Staff Logins - Allow the ability to Adding/Editing/Deleting contacts.
