General Settings

How to go to general settings to make any changes.

If you are looking for the section to make any changes to your schools information such as business email, location, time zone, logo, etc:

  • Left Side Menu Bar > Settings > under General section > General Settings

Note: For any change to take effect, you must log out completely from Spark then log back in.

  • Track Parent's Names: This will give the profile the fields of track parents names. If you are an all adult school, you can turn this option off.

  • Show notification on desktop: Setting to show a notification on the top right hand side of the dashboard when a student checks in for attendance and if past due, expired, or marked as need to see.

  • Show Appointment Confirmation Popup: Setting to show a pop-up to confirm when someone shows for their appointment.

  • Which countries can send you emails?: This is used to prevent spam. Sometimes spam comes in from other countries so limiting to only your country will help reduce spam as the system wont allow opt ins from IP addresses from other countries.
