Spark has the option to connect your Spark calendar to your Google Calendar using Google Sync.
This applies to appointments created or modified after syncing is enabled, as past appointments will not sync automatically.
We have two different options to sync your calendar.
Google Sync β This option means that all appointments assigned to you in the calendar will sync to your Google Calendar, but appointments you add in your Google Calendar will not show up in your Spark calendar.
β
Additionally, past appointments will not be synchronized automatically when this setting is enabled. To include them, they need to be resaved after enabling the sync.
2-Way Sync β This option means that all appointments that you add in Spark will show up in your Google Calendar, and appointments added in your Google Calendar will show up in Spark.
However, disabling the sync ensures that new entries are no longer shared, while existing ones remain unaffected in Google Calendar.
To enable calendar sync:
Go to Settings
Select Calendar
βClick Advance Settings
Sign in to your Google account
Choose your preferred sync option (Google Sync or Google 2-Way Sync)
From there you will be able to sign in and select the sync option that you prefer.
You will see an option to "Sync Unbooked Appointment Slots" this option means that your available appointment slots in your Spark calendar will show up in your google calendar. If you have recurring available appointments set, you might want to turn this off so that it doesn' t fill up your calendar.
To further manage unbooked appointments, use the Calendar Settings in Spark to adjust the sync options to exclude unbooked slots. This helps tailor the synchronization to reflect only booked appointments going forward.
