How to import contacts

How to self Import Contact using the import contacts tool in the settings dropdown

If you want to upload contacts from an external source, this is how you do it.

First make sure you have all the contacts and their info you want to import on a .CSV file. Then go to:

  • Left Side Menu Bar > Contacts > Import Contacts

On Imports Contacts page:

Step One: Select Contact Type

  • Prospect

  • Customer

  • Former Customer - Still Paying

  • Former Contact

  • Contact Type is in Import File

Note: If you select Contact Type is in Import File, use this guide:

  • P = PROSPECT

  • T = ON A TRIAL

  • U = FORMERLY ON A TRIAL

  • Q = FORMER PROSPECT

  • C = ACTIVE CLIENT

  • I = INACTIVE CLIENT

  • F = FORMER CLIENT

  • D = AFTER SCHOOLER

  • E = CAMPER

  • V = VENDER

  • B = BUSINESS

  • S = STAFF

  • O = OTHER

After selecting contact type, click "Next" button.

Step Two: Upload File

  • Select a .CSV file

  • Click "Upload"

Step Three: Map your Data

You'll be brought to mapping page where you can match the corresponding columns to what they're going to be in Spark. Take the screenshot below as example.


After accurately matching all columns. You'll be able to add tags to contacts you plan on importing as well as deleting any duplicates.

After adding any tags, you'll be able to import them to your account by clicking "Import Now" button.
