Are you looking to start a series of automated actions based on a specific date and time? If so, the Date-Based automation trigger is the best option. This trigger allows you to create a sequence of actions that can occur days before, on the day of, or days after a selected date in your automation details. For example, you can schedule emails or SMS messages to be sent on a specific date to a selected group of contacts. One of the advantages of using automation is that all eligible contacts will automatically be included when the action is triggered.

To create a date-based automation:

  1. Go to the left-side menu > More Features > Automations.

  2. Click Add New Automation.

  3. Select the Date-Based trigger from the automation details.

IMPORTANT: You will not be able to create an automation to trigger on the same day you set it up. If you attempt to do so, the automation will not work. You should always set date-based automations to trigger at least one day in advance.
