What are SMS Keywords?
SMS Keywords are words you create that allows someone to send an SMS text message from their mobile phone to your SPARK phone number, and a contact will be created, a Tag will be assigned, an automation will start, and you can send them immediate responses like a full questionnaire or a link to your sales funnel. You can also choose for them to reply with their name and/or email address. For example you could create an SMS Keyword "FREETRIAL" and when you meet someone who is interested in your product or service ask them to text that keyword to your SPARK number.
Where do I set up SMS Keywords?
You're able to create and activate your very own SMS Keywords by going to:
Left Side Menu Bar > Settings > under SMS section > SMS Keywords
On SMS Keywords page, click "Add new SMS Keyword".
This brings you to the keyword setup screen, where you can customize your steps and keywords as needed. You’ll also be able to add tags to contacts, which allows you to group them for reporting purposes and trigger automations based on that specific tag—for example, to send additional information or enroll them in an automation sequence of your choosing.
As you type your desired keyword, additional advanced options will appear, allowing you to further customize the keyword settings. For example, you can adjust the reply messages or set unique actions triggered by the keyword..
