If you want to check for profiles that may have been accidentally duplicated, you can use the Duplicate Profiles report. This report helps you identify and merge duplicate contacts based on similar names, phone numbers, or email addresses.
To access and merge duplicate profiles:
Go to the left-side menu > Reports.
Scroll down to Contact Reports
Click Duplicate Profiles.
Review the suggested duplicates.
Select the profiles you want to merge.
Click Merge.
The system identifies duplicates based on matching characters in the first and last name, as well as matching phone numbers or email addresses. When merging, contacts with a status of Active Client or On a Trial will take precedence.
IMPORTANT: Merging profiles is permanent. Only one contact will remain, and the others will be deleted. This action cannot be undone.
When profiles are merged, important data such as invoices, membership history, contact details, and form submissions will be retained. Be sure to review all details before completing the merge.
If payments or invoices are linked to the wrong profile, you can update them after merging by applying payments to the correct profile or moving invoices as needed.
