Print Attendance Barcode Labels
To find and print these barcodes, go to:
Left Side Menu Bar > Attendance > Attendance Setup > Print Barcodes
There are two attendance labels you can print:
Membership Barcodes - These are membership specific. When you scan this type of barcode, you will not only add an attendance record, but also attach that attendance record to the membership, and the rank style. If you sell punch card type memberships where they pay for a specific quantity of classes, then scanning the membership barcode will keep track of sessions purchased as well. This is our recommended method of scanning barcodes for your members.
Contact Bardoces - These only add an attendance record to a contact and does not attribute the attendance to a specific membership, track sessions paid for, or attribute the class towards a rank system. This type is better if you just want to track attendance.
To use the "Print Now" notification feature, open the notification in the dashboard, select the required membership barcodes, and click "Print Selected Barcodes" to streamline the printing process.
Additionally, staff can scan or manually enter barcodes to log attendance, ensuring flexibility in check-in processes.
For barcode readers we recommend:
Spark uses code 3 of 9 Barcodes, the most popular barcode used in pretty much every scanner ever made. So, you may just need to program the scanner to make sure it reads code 3 of 9, sometimes called code 39.
