Home Screen Announcements are a really great way to notify your contacts of any events taking place in your location, maybe you want to keep your contacts in the loop for any school closures that may be occurring on a date in the near future.
Home Screen Announcements will be a great place to have those announcements showcased for an easy view that your contacts will be able to access on the app.
Please follow the steps below to learn how to create a Home Screen Announcement:
Left Side Menu Bar > More Features > Member App
Under "Spark Member App" page, scroll down and select "Announcements/Events" tab and then click "Add Announcement/Event" button.
On "Member App Announcements" page, choose the header and body of the announcement as you would an email. You can add images and hyperlinks to videos on the announcement itself in case you don't want to add just text.
Select the settings of the announcement such as: Publish Date, Publish Time, Last date available, and also (add date: 12/31/2099) if the announcement does not have an expiration/removal date.
Select a header for the announcement. This will provide your member app users a quick visual look as to what the announcement is about. We suggest adding nice images for the headers.
Choose the order for your announcements. You can select the order for you announcements as they will be shown on the app, so we suggest placing the most important ones at the top
