To follow along with this guide, you need a merge fields file and download it to your computer:
Use Microsoft Word to create your Rank Promotion Template and save it as a Word Document (.docx)
Upload it into Spark by going to:
Left Side Menu Bar > Settings > under General section > Word Doc Template Manager
On Word Document Templates page, click "Upload New Template".
Make sure you set this type of document as a "letter" in the upload box.
Now you have access to this template inside of Mass Rank Promotions.
Left Side Menu Bar > Ranks > Mass Rank Promote
On "Rank Promotions" page, scroll down to "Current and Past Rank Promotions" section and click "View Roster".
On "Rank Systems: Mass Promote" page, scroll down until you see the "Print Reports & Belt Orders" button. Click that and select "Create Awards/Diplomas Merge".
After selecting it, choose the document template you created and edit the other necessary fields based on your preference then click "Create Document".
