How to Access and Manage Membership Payment Information in SPARK MEMBERSHIP

Managing membership payment information is essential for tracking dues, understanding payment schedules, and handling outstanding balances. SPARK MEMBERSHIP provides several tools and reports to help you access and manage this information effectively.

Accessing Member Payment Dates

To view membership payment dates for all members:

  • Navigate to Reports > All Memberships.

  • This report includes a column for the "Next Payment Due Date," showing when the next payment is scheduled for each member's membership.

Viewing Future Payment Schedules

SPARK MEMBERSHIP does not provide a full future payment schedule for individual members. However, you can:

  1. Check the Next Payment Due Date and Payment Frequency in the member's profile or the "All Memberships" report.

  2. Use this information to calculate future payment dates manually. For example, if the next due date is 01/02 and the frequency is monthly, subsequent payments will be on 02/02, 03/02, and so on.

  3. For broader insights into upcoming payments by date range, use the Financial Forecast Report.

Handling Outstanding Balances

SPARK MEMBERSHIP does not offer a direct report listing missed payments and their dates. To determine what is owed:

  1. Open the member's profile and locate their membership details.

  2. Review the billing frequency and next due date.

  3. Use this schedule to identify missed billing dates and calculate the total owed by multiplying the number of missed payments by the membership charge.

Tips for Using Reports Effectively

  • Regularly review the "All Memberships" report to stay updated on payment statuses.

  • Use the "Financial Forecast Report" for planning and anticipating upcoming payments.

  • Keep member profiles updated to ensure accurate billing information.

By leveraging these tools and strategies, you can efficiently manage membership payments and address any outstanding balances in SPARK MEMBERSHIP.
