It's quick and easy! Even if you're not techy! In fact, we can even do it for you...

Step 1: Tell us the exact domain you'd like to use.

This is very important! We have to set the domain up on our end.

Note: If we are told one domain, but you end up using the instructions below for a different one... it won't work!

You are welcome to change your mind if you'd like to use a different domain! Just please tell us first!

Step 2: Did you get the thumbs up from us that your domain is set up on our end? Great! Here's what to do next:

  1. Log in to your Domain Registrar (this is where you bought your domain, such as GoDaddy or Google Domains)

  2. Click on the Domain from Step 1 above

  3. Edit the DNS settings:

if your site is sparkignitepro3.com:

  • Add an “A” record or edit the existing “A” record for @ to point at 138.68.15.202, TTL: 1 Hour (or lowest setting, which may be 4 Hours)

  • Add an “A” record or edit existing “A” record for * to point at 138.68.15.202, TTL: 1 Hour (or lowest setting, which may be 4 Hours)

if your site is sparkignitepro2.com:

  • Add an “A” record or edit the existing “A” record for @ to point at 208.68.38.94, TTL: 1 Hour (or lowest setting, which may be 4 Hours)

  • Add an “A” record or edit existing “A” record for * to point at 208.68.38.94, TTL: 1 Hour (or lowest setting, which may be 4 Hours)

if your site is sparkignitepro1.com:

  • Add an “A” record or edit the existing “A” record for @ to point at 67.205.146.77, TTL: 1 Hour (or lowest setting, which may be 4 Hours)

  • Add an “A” record or edit existing “A” record for * to point at 67.205.146.77, TTL: 1 Hour (or lowest setting, which may be 4 Hours)

IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOUR SERVER IS HOSTED ON PLEASE REACH OUT TO THE IGNITE TEAM 🔥

Here's an example of what each of those look like when you're done:

Next, update the nameservers and put them back to the DEFAULT ones (they might be pointed at your current website provider).

How can you tell?

  • The name of the website company might be in the nameservers

  • The nameservers might include "cloudflare" in the URL

  • Reach out to your Domain Registrar Support! They can verify and update this for you!

  • You can copy/paste this message when reaching out to them:

"I'd like to make sure I'm using your default nameservers for the following domain: [insert URL used for your Ignite Pro Website]. If I'm not, can you please set my nameservers back to default for that domain? Thank you!"

That's it! Not too bad, right? Great work!
