When transferring over to Spark, maintaining payroll and charging your students can be one of the most important things to get rolling while keeping your business afloat. For transferring over card data from past software, there could be lengthy wait times, exorbitantly high prices, complications and delays, or simply no option for it to be possible making it feel nearly impossible to easily transfer over.

Because of this, Spark has created a Credit Card recollection feature for once you've transferred over your contacts and Memberships from your previous software to make the transfer as consistent and easy as possible.

Step 1- Go to the bar on the left and go down to reports and 'All Memberships'.

Step 2- Select the student memberships you'd want to update the card for and at the bottom of the page, click 'Choose Bulk Actions' and select 'Send credit card update email' and click go.

Step 3- Feel free to modify the email if you would like to make it sound more personable, just make sure to not delete the link (merge tag) in the email.
Then click send.

That simple! Once they've placed in their card, it'll be automatically applied to the membership, but if the membership is on hold, it'll NOT activate it.
Be sure to let your students know you've sent the email when possible and to have them update it when they can.

Notes :
If you are wondering if you cant just take the link and paste it in your Facebook the answer is no. That link has coding behind it that links the students profile with the card. You dont want someone's credit card information ending up in someone else's profile and now we have a huge mess on our hands.

If a students card declines, they will automatically get an email to update their card on file with the link.
