To get your data transferred over from KickSite, we'll need you to pull a few reports and send them to us. We handle the import from there.
What's included in your export:
All contacts (Active, Prospects, and Former)
Billing and Membership data
Please note: Financial data transfer options are referenced at the bottom of this guide.
The following reports are needed from KickSite:
Students
Prospects
Recurring Billings
School Memberships
ATA Memberships (if applicable)

Step 1 - Exporting Students
Navigate to Profiles > Students, then:
Under Filters > Status, select All to include all students
Click the Export button
Step 2 - Exporting Prospects
Navigate to Profiles > Prospects. Click the Export button to download all prospects.
Step 3 - Exporting Recurring Billings
Click Finances in the left sidebar. Once on the Finances page:
Select the Recurring Billings tab at the top of the page
Click the Export button on the right to download
Note: This report does not include your students' financial data. Please refer to the Financial Data section at the bottom of this guide for more information.
Step 4 - Exporting School Memberships
Navigate to Quick Links > Memberships > Memberships List in the left sidebar. Click the Export button to download as a CSV.
Step 5 - Exporting ATA Memberships (if applicable)
If you have ATA Memberships, navigate to Quick Links > Memberships > Associated Memberships and repeat the same export process.
Submitting Your Files
Once you have completed all steps, please send your exported files to our data team at [email protected].
Before sending, make sure you have the following:
Your Students CSV file
Your Prospects CSV file
Your Recurring Billings CSV file
Your School Memberships Excel file
Your ATA Memberships Excel file (if applicable)
Please include your Spark ID in your email, which can be found in the top left corner of your Spark software. This helps us identify your account quickly.

Financial data
KickSite does not include financial data in any of the exports above. BASYS/Solupay does offer a card data transfer service, however as of September 2023 this was quoted at $5,000 for up to 10,000 credit cards. We recommend confirming current pricing directly with BASYS/Solupay before proceeding.
Due to the high cost of this service, we recommend using Spark's Credit Card Recollection feature as your primary method of recollecting card information from your students: https://help.sparkmembership.com/en/articles/9859920-credit-card-recollection-feature

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does the import into Spark take? Once we receive your files, your data will be imported within 3 - 5 business days.

What are ATA Memberships? ATA Memberships are association-based memberships that some schools have in addition to their standard School Memberships. If you do not see an ATA Memberships option under Quick Links > Memberships, you likely do not have them.
